Fixings
- 2 skinless salmon filets
- 1 tbsp sweet stew sauce
- 1 tbsp nectar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp mirin or dry sherry
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp finely ground ginger
- dark colored rice or noodles, to serve (discretionary)
For the pak choi
- 2 extensive pak choi
- (about 250g)
- 2 tsp vegetable oil
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 3 garlic cloves, ground
- 75ml fish or vegetable stock
- 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds, for sprinkling
Strategy
- Warmth stove to 200C/180C fan/gas 6 and put 2 skinless salmon filets in a shallow preparing dish.
- Blend 1 tbsp sweet stew sauce, 1 tbsp nectar, 1 tsp sesame oil, 1 tbsp mirin or dry sherry, 2 tbsp soy sauce and 2 tsp finely ground ginger in a little bowl and pour over the salmon so the filets are totally secured. Prepare for 10 mins.
- In the interim, cook the pack choice. Cut a cut over the base of 2 huge pak choi so the leaves are independent.
- Warmth 2 tsp vegetable oil and 2 tsp sesame oil in a wok, include 3 ground garlic cloves and pan-fried food quickly to relax.
- Include the pak choi and sear until the leaves begin to shrink. Pour over 75ml fish or vegetable stock, firmly spread the container and permit to cook for 5 mins – you're going for the stems to be delicate yet at the same time have a touch of chomp.
- Serve the pak choi in shallow dishes, top with the salmon and spoon over the juices. Dissipate with 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds and present with darker rice or noodles, on the off chance that you like.
